A Painted View Ranch offers year-round events and activities for those visiting the area as well as for Colorado natives. When planning your trip, we invite you to lodge with our friends at the Alpine Lodge, Golden Corner Inn, Hillside Cottage, Lamp Post Lodge, or Westcliffe Inn, located only a few short miles from the ranch. To extend your stay, head over to the Custer County Tourism Board and the Custer County Chamber of Commerce to find additional attractions as well as more locations to dine and shop!

    Wow your guests with a breathtakingly beautiful venue that is sure to be remembered forever. A Painted View Ranch is nestled in one of Colorado’s most beautiful and unspoiled areas, The Wet Mountain Valley. Your big day can begin in the bridal suite of our ranch house, located onsite, with plenty of room for you and your bridal party. The ranch’s lush pastures make for fabulous wide-open ceremonies while our cantina, complete with fire ring and pergolas, provides a relaxing and intimate area for cocktails or smaller weddings. Our spacious arena features high ceilings, rustic dirt floor and a large dance floor, perfect for receptions of all sizes and styles. An onsite commercial kitchen is available for your caterer to prepare the freshest food. Experience the difference a View makes!

    Jon Eagle, Sr. is a nationally known consultant with 28 years of experience working with children, families and communities throughout the United States and Canada. He has 19 years of experience consulting with federal, state and tribal agencies, and is considered an expert on Systems of Care, the Wraparound Process, Cultural Competence, Leadership, Equine Assisted Learning and Equine Assisted Wraparound. Jon is currently the owner of Sung Nagi Kici Okiju: Becoming one with the Spirit of the Horse, LLC and serves as the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.
