A Painted View Ranch offers year-round events and activities for those visiting the area as well as for Colorado natives. When planning your trip, we invite you to lodge with our friends at the Alpine Lodge, Golden Corner Inn, Hillside Cottage, Lamp Post Lodge, or Westcliffe Inn, located only a few short miles from the ranch. To extend your stay, head over to the Custer County Tourism Board and the Custer County Chamber of Commerce to find additional attractions as well as more locations to dine and shop!

A Painted View Ranch is nestled in one of Colorado’s most beautiful and unspoiled areas, The Wet Mountain Valley. Your big day can begin in the bridal suite of our ranch house, located onsite, with plenty of room for you and your bridal party. The ranch’s lush pastures make for fabulous wide-open ceremonies while our cantina, complete with fire ring and pergolas, provides a relaxing and intimate area for cocktails or smaller weddings. Our spacious arena features high ceilings, rustic dirt floor and a large dance floor, perfect for receptions of all sizes and styles.     Club America Kelly Hunt Sneaker Ball

    Join us for an evening of high energy Blues with singer/songwriter pianist Kelley Hunt and her band, Saturday June 3. Doors open at 6pm., concert starts at 7pm. Food, beverages, wine and beer available. Fundraising silent auction and more to benefit kids swim programs at Club America community fitness center.

    KLZR Rock and Soul Music Festival

    ROCK N SOUL JAM ’17. New to the Valley for 2017, Wet Mountain Broadcasting Corp. and KLZR 91.7 FM present a 1-day, musical excursion to the past. With the majestic Sangre de Cristo Mountains as a backdrop, four diverse regional bands perform everyone’s favorite music from the 60s, 70s and 80s – the Valley’s own RimFire – ‘Straight Shootin’ Rock n Roll’; the PA Rockers – ‘Full-Throttle 60s and 70s Rock’; Boogie Machine (a perennial top 5 pick of Denver’s Best Bands) – ‘Disco/Dance Music of the 70s’; and, Biff Gore (The Voice Season 6 Contestant) – ‘A Powerful Soul and Motown Sound’.

    Formerly Wet Mountain Western Roundup, the Custer County Cowboy Gathering is an even larger event that we hope you and your family will enjoy for many years to come.
