Marilyn Seibert Stodola


Marilyn was born and reared outside of Boston, Massachusetts. In 1983, Marilyn was introduced to the Wet Mountain Valley and at that time bought property on which in later years, she and her husband, Timothy, built their home where they currently reside.

She received a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications minoring in Public Relations and Health Science, from Columbus State University, in Georgia, and subsequently worked in college administration for 21 years. Colleges where she worked included Community College of the Air Force, Ft. Meade, MD, Bisk Education Tampa, FL, for Regis University, Denver, CO, Pueblo Community College, Pueblo and Canon City, CO and Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, FL. She worked in various capacities in Student Enrollment Management, Student Services, Admissions and Marketing and Advising.

In most recent years, Marilyn worked as the Main Street Manager for ‘Cliffs Action Revitalization Team, coordinating activities and events for the ‘Cliffs Commercial District, of Silver Cliff and Westcliffe Colorado. Organizations for which she has served in the region include Custer County Economic Development Corporation, Southern Colorado Economic Development District, Custer County Chamber of Commerce and Colorado Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Region 13 Sector.

Marilyn has two children Matthew Davidson, currently serving in the United States Army, on the Golden Knights Parachute Team, and Gregory Davidson, who after a 10-year stint in the United States Navy as an Electronics Technician, is attending Daytona State College. In Daytona Beach, FL, seeking a Music Production degree.
