Ashten Hutton

Ranch Manager

Ashten Hutton was born and raised in Hesperia, California. She received her first horse at age three and has been riding and training ever since. When her father gave her an unbroken filly and said "If you want her, you break her!" she realized that breaking horses was what she wanted to do. Not only are horses her career, they are her passion. As she got older, Ashten was an active member in the California High School Rodeo Association, local jackpots and local rodeos.

Ashten Hutton has been involved with horses her entire life and started breaking horses at an early age for herself and others. When she graduated high school she went to college in Sterling at Northeastern Junior College for an Associate Degree in Applied Science majoring in Equine Management and Training. She was an active member of the college rodeo team and managed to make the Dean’s list every quarter. During internship she decided to continue her education in Equine Science and Reproduction as well as getting a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Ashten started a business, Hutton's High Hopes Horses, in 2009 and has been training horses and giving riding lessons to adults and children of all ages. She taught preschool for two years, finally joining the two things she loves most! She partnered with A Painted View Ranch in September, 2013 and is continuing to provide lessons and training at that facility as well as kid’s camps. Horses are not just a career they are her passion.

Now raising two girls, Ashten enjoys spending time with family in the outdoors and sharing her passion with her girls.
