Ashten Hutton

Ranch Manager

Ashten Hutton was born and raised in Hesperia, California. She received her first horse at age three and has been riding and training ever since. At a young age, she realized that training horses was what she wanted to do. Not only are horses her career, they are her passion. As she got older, Ashten was an active member in the California High School Rodeo Association, local jackpots and local rodeos.

Ashten Hutton has been involved with horses her entire life and started training horses at an early age for herself and others. When she graduated high school, she went to college in Sterling at Northeastern Junior College for an Associate Degree in Applied Science majoring in Equine Management and Training. She was an active member of the college rodeo team and managed to make the Dean's list every quarter. During internship she decided to continue her education in Equine Science and Reproduction as well as getting a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Ashten started a business, Hutton's High Hopes Horses, in 2009 and has been training horses and giving riding lessons to adults and children of all ages. She taught preschool for two years, finally joining the two things she loves most! She partnered with A Painted View Ranch in September, 2013 and is continuing to provide lessons and training at that facility as well as kid's camps. Horses are not just a career they are her passion.

Ashten continues to expand her knowledge and has completed her courses in level one in Bio-Energy Analysis Technique and plans to continue with level two. Completing these courses will help to continue to keep the horses feeling good and working at their best. Ashten has also completed the ROTH Holistic Horsemanship Foundation course and continues to merge all the knowledge she is gaining to better her horse skills for the better of the horse, as a whole, as well as training. She plans to continue the ROTH Trainers Program where she will use this knowledge to focus on starting and training all the Nakotas here at the ranch and all the new foals to come in the future.

Now raising two girls, Ashten enjoys spending time with family in the outdoors and sharing her passion with her girls. One day she hopes her girls will enjoy and share the same passion of horses and are happy to have them as part of the ranch to help.
